We are sure everyone has either read it on the
boards such as BBInsider or
Reality TV Fans or actually had it
e-mailed to you, but just in case here is the latest diatribe against board
censorship by a poster named Newsflash:
Has Big Brother literally gone to the heads of a few popular websites?
Both the TV Clubhouse and
Elite's TV have turned to Utopian Big
Brother style censorship. Users are censored and limited only to saying only
what the moderators want to hear. Forget expressing an opinion. If anything you
say is in any way disagreeable to those in control then it is immediately
moderated, deleted, or your account immediately eliminated with little or no
warning. This drastically supresses the honest feelings, thoughts, and comments
of the users. I agree that moderation is needed in some cases but this is a
classic example of overmoderation.
The moderators will attempt to state otherwise because they want as many people
to come to their site (or switch over) as possible. The more cows they can herd
in, the more they can brand. What the users don't see is that 75% of the
moderators are truly power hungry control freaks. In fact, all the moderators
at Elite's TV came from the TV Clubhouse when they didn't get their way and/or
lost their "prize position". There are always just two or three in
complete control while many of the other mods are basically trained to follow
as to not lose their own mod status.
I would suggest that you go to both sites and read the rules. While Elite's TV
has a more simplified set of censorship-inducing rules, the TV Clubhouse has
almost a full Sears Catalog that they expect each and every member to remember
and abide by or they will instantly moderate or delete your account.
Regardless, both sites are geared to supressing what you have to say.
The main Moderators of Elite's TV is: Elitist (Admax) and Digilady (Cat).

The main Moderators of the TV Clubhouse is ENB (Neil) and Flint (Tim).

Be wary as Big Brother is alive and well. A full story will be published online
soon.
Suprisingly this was not our doing, so of course we also think it is pretty
stale news - everyone knows the moderated boards censor, and we have also seen
what happens to boards that have no moderation. And everyone has a choice as to
which board(s) they frequent.
We suspect this is more the ramblings of an irrate poster than a serious expose
- we will be interested to see the full story that is promised.
(Note: We have gotten a lot of feedback thinking the
above article was written by us. Our comments have now been placed in bold so
you can see our opinion) |

Another good Kent chat at Elite TV (more on this
later), and Lawyerman was again in attendance. This time he was on his best
behaviour, if anything being too cautious in his statements.
Come on Lawyerman, I am sure the moderators would have let you get by with at
least one plug of your site, or for TVCH. I even saw Elitist laugh when
you made your last comment about being ready to leave so you were going to say
your piece. And the #BigBrother chatters were bombarding Kent with mentions of
their site and only got yelled at a bit.
So out of respect for your restraint, here is the link to your site:

We were lucky enough to be present at both of the
Kent chats on Thursday and Friday at Elites
TV and Reality 411 respectively.
Seems both chats had a bit of trouble in getting started, the Reality chat
starting almost 20 minutes late. And we thought way too many people were
inserting inconsequential comments (such as the ubiquitous LOLs and ROFLs) in
both chats. Seems both sites received some "constructive criticism"
on their boards during the chat.
Reality 411's chat was by far the longer, with Kent and his wife Kathy sticking
it out for what seemed like hours. But Elite TV, in what is becoming standard
operating procedure for them, also brought in Bunky's lifemate Gregg and the
first banished houseguest, Sheryl, and her son Harrison.
Sorry Kristii, but we have to give the kudos for this round to Elite TV with
their lineup of suprise guests. CBS should take lessons from these guys on how
to run a real fun internet Big Brother chat. |

That paragon of internet propriety has struck
again. Zeb has posted an "Open Letter to Reality Netizens" on
BBInsider claiming that he holds no
hard feelings to the moderator at TVCH that banned him, that his
harmless shenanigans did not deserve such treatment in light of how much he
contributed to the site, and that he gets tons of e-mail from his supporters
begging him to come back.
It doesn't seem too many posters there buy this story (except a weird dude
named Horace - who knows this is probably another Zeb alias). And if the flood
of e-mails we have received discounting his letter as another "Troll
Trick" is any indication, there aren't too many in the reality scene that
believe it either. It just seems hard to trust a poster that has spent so much
time making sure you can't trust him.
C'est la vie. |

This issue's Favorite Poster is
Reality TV Fans' Infidel In The
Temple
We have seen this poster on several sites, and his consistent impudence and wit
have brightened our day. And since he is not going to be online for August
20-26, what better time to honor him than in his absence?
This Bud's on you, Infidel! |
