Why did I start Banish-Krista.com?
Because Krista doesn't like SPAM, and my nickname is Spamgirl. Because people
started calling ME Krista and her Kristy. It was a joke at first, I started the
site before the house guests even went into the house! But slowly and surely
Krista started pissing people off - whether it be by her backstabbing or lying,
or by her accent and "grammar", or by her forgetfulness that her
daughter exists, or by her partner choices... the list really goes on and on,
but the hits started going up and up.
So far I've been getting about 20 emails a day in support of the site
(sometimes just kudos, sometimes inside gossip) and 1 every two days telling me
how much I suck "cuz u r a dum botch". It's funny to see the
difference in quality between the emails - the positive emails are more often
well-written than the hateful ones.
Krista's brother also shoots off an email or two to me, letting me know I have
no life and I'm a pig. His latest rant is that I'm Kathy Blackwelder, and that
he's going to do something to the Blackwelders when he sees them in California.
In fact, he once said on a public mailing list: "Its not the nom, Its what
that white trash redneck cardealer said about her. I surely will see him when
he gets out. You can put that on a banner. How about. Kent will answer to
Leon." That's the kind of crap he spews at anyone who doesn't like his
little sister.
Anyway, I spend about 10 minutes a day updating the site - moving old news to
the archives, adding new news I received through email, and adding the screen
caps I got off of ElitesTV.com. What surprises me is that 10 minutes of effort
on my part brings 2000 people a day! But, whatever makes them happy.
Our latest banner drive raised just enough money to fly two banners -
KR2FACED2ALL and MIKE OVER LAKEN FOR $100-SHAME. I've caught a lot of flack for
the content of the banners - what I've learned is that you can't please
everyone with any banner text you'll ever come up with. I didn't choose the
text of the banners, the donators did, and they paid the money for them so I
guess some people do agree with what they say.
So that's about it about the site :) |

We were somewhat suspicious by some of the posts
on BBInsider and
Elite TV, however it has been confirmed:
Zeb, also variously known as Tukuul, Guruchaz, Skorpius, The Bird,
CuriousGeorge, Foolio and others too numerous to mention, has been
BANNED from TVClubhouse
by none other than Flint - a long time moderator well-respected in the reality
TV scene.
The number of e-mails we have been receiving enumerating the offenses of this
one poster has been astounding. And the depth and variety of his trangressions
make us wonder why TVClubhouse has not banned him a long time ago.
Besides flamebaiting, spamming, reposting on other sites, and posting personal
information (the case of Digilady on BBInsider comes to mind), he also cheated
in not one, but TWO Big Brother type games on the site. Until now, the only
retribution was a one-week detention center on the TVCH site which appears to
us to have been more of a forum for him than any real punishment.
Our hats off to Flint for finally taking the sacred bull by the horns and
turning it into a steer. |

We were lucky enough to hear about the presence
of Kent in EliteChat on Sunday night, and
as many others flocked to hear his first words on the net. Great Job Elite TV
for running that impromptu question and answer session.
We were very suprised, however, when we saw the posts started by Lawyerman
about his eviction from the chat due to mentioning the
TVClubhouse. Since we had kept a
log of this momentous event, we went back to look at what horrible thing he had
done to deserve the boot.
It seems Lawyerman spoke up about five times in the chat - and each time
instead of respecting that the chat was sponsored by Elite TV, he advertised
either TVCH or his own website. His last offense also occured after a very
nasty post (could it be Zeb?) who was very quickly booted and banned.
Lawyerman, as self-appointed netiquette judge and jury, you are found guilty as
charged.

The following was sent to us and posted on
Elite TV. It has been verified this is from the member that left the
site.
Oh no! I couldn't believe my eyes today when I read about my negative posting
about Elites Chat. I want to give you a better picture of the reaction of the
folks at Elites.
While it is true that I ultimately left the site, I want to make sure I point
out that the Elites team was very apolgetic and interested in details of my
experience. They have been the subject of "trolls" and didn't
initially realize the source of the critic was a regular member. Elites has a
true desire to improve their chat and the impression that some of us get that
Elites is a clique. In fact, having now sampled the attitude of other board
administrators, I see that the Elites Team is the BEST OUT THERE!
Digilady and Elitist took the complaint seriously. I now regret more than ever
that I posted that criticism. FOR THE MOST PART, the folks at ELITES are nice
folks with the right attitude toward the net community!
My apologies to them for having posted that instead of sending my concerns to
them privately. I wish I had just emailed them behind the scenes.
I hope you print MY side of this, as well. I will post this on Elites today!

Elite TV and
Banish-Krista, we have chosen
BanishKrista aka Spamgirl as this issue's favorite poster. We were present in
the Elite Chat with Kent and we were very impressed with how the question and
answer session was handled by BanishKrista and the rest of the Elite crew.
Thanks a lot for giving us the opportunity to talk to Kent. I even got to ask
him a question! |
